  • Hello !! Here is the place where you can create your own character in my roleplay ! This is a little more complex than usual as I have added stats into the form to make it easier for me to run !!! The stats won’t really affect roleplay, just the outcome of events. They are behind the scenes more than anything.

    -You can have as many characters as you like as long as you keep them active
    -Any sexuality or gender identity is fine for a character to have
    -No overpowered characters please, please make balanced personalities and no character should have magical abilities before the tests
    -No cat under 6 months can enter the Tests. Cats born during the tests are the only exception
    -It would be better not to make characters based off of your purrsona. It makes it a lot more fun and interesting
    -Characters can have any moral standing whatsoever, they can be past murderers, peace loving cats or anything in between
    -Please remember that there is an 8 year gap from the start of Sophia’s Vengeance, and humans have not existed even within the lifetime of the oldest cats. No one remembers anything except their cities
    -Accessories can be human item based, as in the half broken cities they have some human items

    Here’s an example form with my kiddo Mallory. His form is very long, don’t worry if yours is nowhere near this long, honestly I probably wrote too much, the backstory can be tiny if you want it to be

    Backstory : Mallory was born into a good family, and he has had a relatively good life regardless of the awful world he lived it in, it was all he knew. His parents told tales of a world where city cats and wild cats fought, and he often spent time in a few smaller ruined cities, playing games with his brother Aphrodite. When he was just under six moons old, his father fell sick with the Strike, and died. His mother told Mallory and Aphrodite to flee before it got them as well, and luckily the two survived Polia without catching the illness. The two took shelter in any place they could find, spending their time together for warmth from the cold, and helping other cats find water when the weather scorched the earth. Eventually, around their first year of life, Aphrodite grew tired of the seasons, and took an interest in joining a district. Mallory was not so keen, The Glade was out of the question, as the two cats were lucky enough to have heard rumours about the pollen, and Mallory did not want to commit. One night the two fought, and Aphrodite left for Bapxer, even though Mallory tried to stop him. A small group of cats found Mallory running towards Bapxer the next morning, and decided to shelter the poor tom. Here, Mallory met the love of his life. Her name was Tefi, and she was a meek little she cat. She was blind in one eye, and hard of hearing, with scars covering her pelt. The group of cats had taken her in when her former group cast her out. However, the pull to find his brother had not stopped with this blossoming love, and Mallory sought out Aphrodite in the city. His brother was thrilled to see him, and Mallory began to go there every single night. In the day he spent time with Tefi, and in the night he talked with his brother and helped out the cats of Bapxer. When he turned 4 and a half, his first children were born. It hadn’t been planned, and the cold season was fast approaching, but he was thrilled to have two daughters,Zizi and, named after his brother who Tefi thought was dead, Dite. He continued his double life, risking his life at night and pretending that he was just a good dad during the day. Then one day another cat from the group, Kep, followed him, and began to see signs of the monsters. It scared Mallory, this cat had entered Bapxer once and seen a monster, and the next day was discovered soulless. However he couldn’t stop going however much he wanted to. It kept on like that until one night, not long before he turned five, Aphrodite snuck out to see Mallory. Dite followed him as he went to see his brother, and when she heard his name, she asked Mallory why he was speaking to a ghost. There was confusion from both Dite and Aphrodite, and Mallory told his brother to leave. The next day Aphrodite returned and Mallory told him he would no longer visit Bapxer. Aphrodite attacked Mallory, leaving him with the ugly scar. When he crawled back home, he refused to speak of it, simply saying he had been attacked by a ghost. The only time he saw Aphrodite after that was when the tom was glancing out across the plains at him, with wide scared eyes. Mallory never knew what happened to his brother after that.

      Age : 3 ½ years
      Gender and pronouns : Male (he/him or they/them)
      Description : small, lightly built smoke tabby tom with greyish green eyes. He has one scar on his shoulder, as well as several small ones scattered across the left side of his body from wounds that didn’t heal quite right. His right ear is also badly torn.
      Personality : Quinn is very skittish, and quick to run from threats. He has difficulties trusting people, but doesn’t like to see anyone get hurt, regardless of what he thinks of them. He is also very doubting of himself, but keeps himself going with the hope of redeeming himself in the eyes of his family. He is also very optimistic that things can and will get better.
      Place of origin in the world (can include just outside the districts): Haninga
      Backstory : Quinn was born to a rather intense family living in Haninga. He had one older sibling (Kallen) and two littermates (Ash and Dumpling). Kallen was born before his parents enlisted in the army, along with another kit named Jace who had an unfortunate accident involving a lava river and faulty parental supervision. After that, his parents both enrolled in the army. About two months after his mother went on a mission to another village, Quinn and his littermates were born. As soon as they were old enough to be weaned, Quinn’s mother left them in the care of Kallen, who was about a year old at the time. Kallen did his best to raise his younger siblings, since his mother was very dedicated to her duty and no one had actually informed Quinn’s stepfather of his new stepchildren, but he was hardly an adult himself. Between four hungry bellies and lava rivers, it was very hard for them to find enough food. So, as soon as the kits were a year old, they all enlisted in the military. Quinn was not a fan of military life. He hated lizards, hated fighting, and also was unfortunate enough to be assigned under his stepfather, who quickly figured out that Quinn, Ash, and Dumpling were not his children. Quinn was determined to prove himself to his (step)father, but kept falling short. He lacked the broad shoulders of his mother, and it was clear when he stood next to his towering stepfather that they were not related. Battle after battle, he hung back, terrified at the prospect of killing or being killed. As the scars on his sibling’s strong shoulders tallied up, his stepfather grew less and less patient with his stepson. If there was a dangerous scouting mission, Quinn was chosen for it. If someone had to be bait, it was Quinn. Quinn knew his stepfather was trying to get him killed, but he did not say anything. He was not who his family wanted him to be, and he thought that he deserved to suffer for it. His siblings, however, disagreed. Although they liked making their father proud, they quickly grew to despise him for his treatment of Quinn. They hatched a plan to escape from Haninga, the army, and their terrible parents. One night, they snuck out of the camp, and headed for the border. They almost made it, but their father caught scent of them and followed them. He told them that they were to come back to the army and serve out their enlistment, or he would kill them himself. And so they fought. It was four against one, but their father was a seasoned warrior. Dumpling was quickly cooked in a pool of lava, and Kallen was severely injured. Quinn held back, fear and self doubt freezing his paws to the ground. But, as he watched his stepfather pin Ash to the ground, he lunged forward, knocking his father to the ground. He could have stopped there, or injured his father so that they could escape. But, instead, he pushed him into the lava, watching with an odd pleasure as the other tom burned to death. Kallen gave him his first shoulder scar, and they escaped to outside of the districts. However, the siblings had made the ill advised choice of leaving during Polia. Ash fell sick with the strike, and begged Kallen and Quinn to leave him before they caught it as well. Quinn quickly agreed, but Kallen told him to go without him. His injuries from the battle had been slowing them down, and he wanted his younger brother to have a shot at getting to another district before they all got sick. Quinn was torn, but Kallen refused to leave Ash’s side. So, Quinn went to the Glade, still haunted by the faces of his brothers and the image of his stepfather dying at his paw. When Pilate offered him a safe life, he quickly agreed. When he heard of the tests, his first instinct was to say no. But he couldn’t help but think that he didn’t deserve the easy life he had. His siblings had done well in the military, and had only left because he was too weak, too merciful, too scared. They had only died because of him. And he could hardly even call himself a peace keeper, after killing his own stepfather. So, he volunteered for the tests, hoping to become a son that maybe his parents could be proud of, and in the hope that he might repay the world for his siblings’s sacrifices.

      Backstory : Welch Longwalker is named and known for his qualities of patience, tolerance, loyalty and ability to work hard, and he is often listed as an example of any or all of these traits in Iseti. He mysteriously vanished without a trace one day, and a search was set out to find him. Some say that he became a ‘Snow Wraith’ but is no proof as Longwalker was never found again after he vanished, alive or not. The real reason why he vanished, however, was because some sort of strange God-like cat came to him, asking him to leave his place of origin to live a new and better life. Welch agreed because he wanted some and quiet, thinking that this strange cat was a hallucination a lack of sleep, but when he woke up in a different place that was apparently ‘Paradise’, he regretted his decision and wished to be back to where he came from. After the God-cat told Welch about the Tests that he could face if he helped the Strange feline, he thought about it and then reluctantly agreed, thinking that he could go back to his home place afterwards, but after learning about becoming a God-like cat if he succeeds in these tests, he thought it was all stupid and unnecessary for himself, but he took part in them anyway without mentioning his need to return to his normal life.       Backstory : Willow’s parents and siblings were killed in front of her eyes when she was only a kit by one of Baxter’s gangs. She was given a choice whether to join their gang or die, so she chose to join the gang. She was treated harshly her entire life, and forced to kill several cats. Many times, members of the gang would have their souls taken, and Willow would see it happen. On a night when her gang was badly defeated by another gang, Willow escaped into the world beyond the districts, and stayed with a kind refugee group. However, the season of Polia started about a moon after she had joined, and most of the refugees died. When Pilate came, Willow was desperate to escape her old life and the grief it had brought.

      Backstory: was left alone in a cave at one moon old. Began to hunt eagles. At the age of seven months she met another cat who was horrible to her and the cat hurt her, making her quiet for the rest of her life. She has never told anyone that her parents abandoned her. Eventually she left the cave and she met a cat that claimed to be her father. She ran away from him. When she was eight months old she came to the Twolegplace. She ran into an alley, but there was the cat that had bullied her a month ago and a bunch of other cats. Eclipse barely escaped alive.

      • Hello could you please reread the info ? There’s a lot of world building in it that kind of can’t be ignored and the powers are power types. Also sexuality is kinda what gender mate she would want to have if she ever did have a mate. So if she never wants a mate then that would be ace aro

        This isn’t for definite but maybe changing the name might be nice ? We had a pretty well know cat in tests 1 called eclipse and the less name overlap the better

      Backstory : Shadow was born in Iseti, where her large build and fluffy pelt kept her warm in the harsh cold. She had a normal, boring life until a battle happened between the Snow Wraiths. During the battle a Snow Wraith pinned down Shadow’s brother, Shard, and tried to kill him. Shadow tried to save him by leaping up and biting his killer’s neck, but the Snow Wraith moved away in just the right time and Shadow bit her brother instead, killing him. She went crazy with guilt and grief and banished herself from her home, hoping to start a new life elsewhere.

      Personality : Anarch is spontaneous if he’s panicked, but otherwise calculated. He downplays his self doubt and anxiety by making fun of it, and he had an odd sense of humor. He’s sneaky, but not very good at communicating.

      Backstory : Anarch lived a normal life in Iseti with his parents and littermates. It seemed like it would stay that that forever, but then they found a crystal. Out of greed, his father decided to keep it for himself, so he lied to them and ran away. His mother, thinking he got lost in the snow, went out to find him.
      She never came back.
      Anarch, supposing that Hawkchaser had killed his parents for hiding a crystal, decided to kill the monarch in revenge. He was unsuccessful, and would have been killed himself if it weren’t for his sister, Alibi. They were both driven out, and Alibi was angry that he had forced her out of her home. After an argument that would divide then forever, they went their separate ways, each vowing never to look for the other again. Anarch couldn’t find his way out of Iseti, and if Pilate hadn’t found him, he would have perished from lost sickness.

      Backstory : Lucien is a descendant of both Natalie and Susano, due to the fact that I imagine that they probably met on their separate travels at some point and would’ve likely had a brief fling, resulting in kits (who were probably adopted by some other cat, probably a city cat). He’s lived in the Glade his whole live, alongside his sister, Izaria. The two of them lived in Bapxer before their parents deaths- they then moved to the Glade, hoping for safety and protection. They both have been trying to survive and make do with their lives as they don’t know what to do anymore.

Hazel lived in Haninga for a long time, not particularly wanting to leave the place for another district. They took great pride in defending their land, and served in the army.

      Description : A slightly short, caramel-brown she-cat with a white chest, belly, muzzle, and paws. She has light blue eyes and a scar on her left hind leg, and a small scar on her front right shoulder.
      Personality : She is indecisive and gets anxious easily, however when her loved ones are in danger, she is able to make quick decisions and would do anything to save them even if she would get hurt. She’s awkward, but she still tries to be social and loves telling jokes and laughing at them. She cares very deeply about others, and tries to make the world a better place by being kind and helpful whenever she can.

      Backstory : Iris’s mother died after Iris was born, so Iris lived in Baxpur for her whole life with her father (Kaleb), and her older brother (Gale). Her father Kaleb became more aggressive and cold after her mother died, and would snap or act angrily towards his children. Becasue of this, Kaleb would get into small skirmishes with gang members, and Iris spent most of her life moving aroung Baxper with her family in order to avoid gang violence. Iris felt as is the death of her mother was her fault and that her father hated her because of it. Gale was very protective of Iris, and taught her how to hunt mice, heal basic wounds, and other important survival instincts. Once, he found some pretty looking wire, and made it into a bracelet for Iris. Iris views Gale as a father figure and loved him very much. One day after Iris and Gale returned to their current home (made from a broken down building section) with a few mice after hunting, Kaleb started to yell at her for not catching enough mice, and Gale defensively stood in front of Iris and told Kaleb that she did just fine. Kaleb seemed to snap and and go into a blind chaotic rage. He lashed out and killed Gale. Kaleb suddenly calmed down and realized what he had done, and was horrified with himself. Iris ran away in fear, but stayed the night in a nearby building. The next morning she went to quickly spy on her father, only to find him laying dead, in a puddle of his own blood. It appeared as if he had been killed by someone, but Iris was’t sure who. She was filled with dread and decided spent her time helping other feel happy and safe, just like her brother did, in order to honor her brother’s memory. She spent her time wandering around Baxper helping families and those who required help in any way. She decided to join the tests in the hope that she improve others lives and and prove herself in order to overcome the deep rooted guilt of her mother’s death.

      Personality : Aphrodite is very chaotic, and impulsive. He can be borderline aggressive to some cats, and is very open with his feelings. He is independent and decisive. He is the smartest of the two, and funnily enough for an aggressive and impulsive cat he is good with words

      Backstory : Mallory’s brother, when his Father came down ill with the Strike, and him and Mallory had to leave, Aphrodite could tell that this separation bothered him more than Mallory. It was frustrating, that whilst Aphrodite would mourn his father, Mallory was so focused on survival that it became nearly obsessives. The two brothers did thrive, that was for sure, but Aphrodite never really came to terms with the feelings of loosing his father as he was so caught up in his brothers rush. Hoping it might help his brother calm down, Aphrodite proposed travelling to a district. This suggestion was shot down, and so sick and tired of the cycle, Aphrodite left for Bapxer in the night. It wasn’t long until his brother began to visit him there, every single night, but never, ever in the day light. Aphrodite was confused at first but for once in his life he had his fun loving brother back. The two worked together in the city, making pacts with various gangs, and quite successfully climbing the ranks. Aphrodite was smart, and Mallory was strong, so together they made a great duo. One day, Mallory came with another cat, who the monsters got. Worried this might scare his brother away, Aphrodite came to visit him outside of Bapxer. A young cat, around 6 months old, but still with a face that carried a little naivety, saw the two talking. Mallory told Aphrodite to leave, and then his realised what had been happening. This his niece. This was Mallory’s daughter. And it seemed she had been named after him, Dite, an old nickname Father had called him. It stung at the same time as being a comfort, Mallory obviously preferred this new family to him and they were the reason he would never visit in the day. The next day Aphrodite returned, and this time they fought with claws. He left his brother with a scar and fled.
      Knowing Mallory wouldn’t return, Aphrodite was kicked out of the gang, as he was no use just being the smart one. Only days later, he saw writing in blood on the walls, a warning the monsters would come for him next. He ran out of Bapxer, and saw his brother in the distance. The two locked eyes, and the panic was just written on Aphrodite’s face. He would die here. Staying in Bapxer would be his downfall. The day later Aphrodite was found by Pilate, and in a rush, he accepted both offers. Maybe he could get away from the monsters at last. When he saw Mallory had also accepted the offer. Well, it wasn’t great news. His brother clearly wanted nothing to do with him, and wanted his life at Bapxer to be a secret.

      Description : Pretty Bengal she cat who still has relatively kitten like features. She has green eyes, and dainty paws. She is a daintily built cat. Switch has weak lungs and can’t strain that too much otherwise she risks getting out of breath. She has a few scars on her back from a burn, however these barely shown beneath her slick fur, and a scar on her muzzle that goes from her nose around her chin.
      Personality : Switch is resourceful and quick thinking in a crisis, she acts before she thinks and this can get her into all sorts of messes. She is relatively closed off from other cats, and can quite often snap at others if they try and talk to her. For being relatively impulsive, she quite often sticks back and doesn’t act, preferring to have others do the jobs she isn’t brave enough to take.

      Backstory :
      When she was very young, Switch was found by a group of cats just sitting alone. It was the height of Magla, and the group decided to take the kitten in to protect her from the awful heat. They were a strange group called the True Cats, very religious, following a god they called the Life Deity, or Bentimoba. Switch remained nameless for quite a while as was the custom of the True Cats, she would not get a name until her first kill, she was simply referred to as Spotted kitten or, Foundling. Her naming came before she really expected it, she just saw a beetle crawling across the ground, and filled with boredom, she pounced and killed it. The cat who was acting as her mother, Daffodil was incredibly surprised, but took her straight to their leader, Sycamore. They had a small naming ceremony, and little 1 month old Switch got her first name, Beetle. The other kitten around her age, a tom who was often referred to as the Wild One, was incredibly happy for her, but also a little bit jealous. So, he went out to and kill something for himself. Shockingly, he managed to corner and a lemming and force to fall off a cliff of cracked ground. It took a bit of discussion to decide whether that counted but eventually they did agree to name him Lemming. Lemming and Beetle were best friends from the moment they had met each other, and they did everything together. They were so excited for when their 7th month of life would come, and they could finally become proper worshipers of Bentimoba. Beetle took more to her studies than Lemming did, he was a complete wild card, running around recklessly and not listening to a word he was told. On the other hand Beetle was somewhat of a leaders pet, somehow keeping her wild side in check when the eyes of elder cats were following her. Lemming was obsessed with the idea of getting his proper name in the ceremony at 7 moons, he talked about it non stop. Beetle was sure he didn’t care about becoming a proper worshipper, he just wanted the glory of a plant name like Daffodil and the rest of the group had. He always said that he wanted to be called Switchgrass, something he had heard of in Daffodil’s stories. Beetle didn’t like to think forward to her name, she only really cared about pleasing Bentimoba with how devoted she was. Eventually the day came, and the fire was set. The ceremony was that the cat had to walk into the fire, and Bentimoba should protect them and show them the plant that truly represented themselves. Unlike the previous ceremony, they were told to enter the flames separately. Lemming protested, he wanted to go in with Beetle like the previous two, Allium and Bulrush had. But the leaders who oversaw it shook their heads, and gestured for Lemming to go in first. He looked panicked, and as the fire closed around him he screamed out. All the cats were told to leave whilst he took part in the ceremony by himself.
      Later that day Beetle was told to take part. She went into the fire, and the flames closed around her. She began to panic, but taking deep breaths, she kept bounding between the gaps in the flames, looking for any signs of her name, and the way out. But suddenly. another cat appeared. It was Hibiscus, an old member of the group. They told Beetle to follow them, but Beetle protested, surely the Life Deity wanted them to get through this on their own. Hibiscus just commanded her to follow, telling her that the Life Deity told the True Cats which cats xe wanted to pass the ceremony, and it was up to the True Cats to make sure that happened. Hibiscus lead the way out of the fire, and as Beetle followed she felt a hint of worry go through her. Just above the flames she could make out cats still watching her trial. That hadn’t happened for Lemming. She asked Hibiscus where Lemming was, and just as they finally raced out of the fire, Hibiscus turned around and told her that Lemming had never been meant to pass the trial, and it was the Life Deity’s choice that he would never have a chance to escape the flames. Beetle was shocked. She had wanted to spend her days with her friend but now he was dead because of this stupid trial. Sycamore came and asked her what she wanted her name to be, and to honour Lemming, she replied with Switchgrass. Everything was turned on its head after that. But all of a sudden Bulrush started to show an interest in her. Switch fell head over heels for the beautiful white she cat, who never seemed to do anything but lead her on
      Switch became the one who would lead chosen kittens out of the fire, and leave others to die. Bulrush always told Switch how proud of her she was and how Switch was doing so great, and these words of encouragement stopped Switch for doing what was right. Eventually the impressionable Switch became almost like an assassin for the True Cats, killing those who had little faith in Bentimoba. It all changed when another kitten came along, found outside just like Switch had been. Switch began to act as a mother figure for this kitten, and tried to encourage Bulrush to as well. In her third month the kitten took the name Butterfly, and as the trial grew nearer, and the leaders began to show signs that they did not want Butterfy to pass the trial, and just as Switchgrass set the fires, Bulrush came and gave her the worst news. Butterfly was to be left to die in the flames. However Bulrush did not seem to mourn the way Switchgrass did, and Switch confronted her on that, accidentally letting out her feelings for Bulrush in the process. Bulrush was shocked, and told Switch she didn’t feel the same way, before racing away back to the leaders. The time of the trial came and just as the other cats went to leave, Switch cried out telling them to stop it. Sycamore hissed at her, and when Switch refused to back down, she pushed her back towards the flames. Hanging on to the edge of a ruined building, Switch cried out to Bulrush, who took a step back in shock. Sycamore leapt at Switchgrass again, shoving her down into the fire with Butterfly. The two cats only just managed to escape without very many injuries. Just as they were getting out of the True Cats land, Daffodil catches up to them. She says she does not want to kill Switchgrass, and begs her to come back and answer for her crimes. Switch tries to run past but Daffodil pins her down, giving her a scar all the way from her nose to down her chin. Switch expects Daffodil to kill her but the she cat lets her go free and says that if she was to survive she will have to run, and never return and if any cat sees her with that scar she will be killed. Switch and Butterfly flee. They try and rest out in the plains one night but a cat from the True Cats attacks them. After that event they flee to Haninga. The Haninga guards tell them that they have heard of cats fleeing from the True Cats before, and will offer the two of them sanctuary. They provide Switch with a scarf that covers her face to hide the scar, and help her learn how to groom her fur in a way that covers the scar on her back. Butterfly is incredibly happy at Haninga and takes a new name, Chick, but Switchgrass is not content. When Pilate came to her she was unhappy and felt as if she would spend her whole life fleeing. Maybe if she was able to get god like powers, and fix the world she could finally escape her past. Or maybe not but at least these tests would be a way out of her awful like

        Description: Dwindle is an old cat with sleek black fur and powerful legs. He has brown spots on his forehead and a long tail. His fur is not very thick but not too thin either. He is very fast and agile
        Personality: Dwindle is almost as old as an elder in warriors. He remembers what it was like before the extreme seasons and the strike started. He is usually very kind but sometimes an he sorrowful, as if he is missing something. He is shown to have worry towards cats with the strike and stays away from cats with the strike.
        Place of origin in the world: No one knows, but when dwindle was about 2 years old he traveled to the glade and he has stayed there since.
        Backstory:
        Dwindle has told this story many times. He was born in some sort of icy wasteland, but his description of it doesn’t sound familiar. He was born with his brother, Spotted. When they were old enough to eat prey, they witnessed their mom drown in a river. They were impacted by this and they had to leave their land. They were about to leave when suddenly, spotted started coughing, and throwing up black bile. Then he started to grow lumps and his eyes started going black. Dwindle kept a distance, but his brother seemed fine after a little while. They set off, and once they neared the glade, Spotted dropped dead randomly. This made Dwindle very sad, and he has dedicated his life ever since to finding a cure to the sickness that Spotted died from. He has seen a few cases since then, and every time he wasn’t able to find a cure.

            Backstory: Millow was very excited to explore and adventure until she was trapped inside in old building that started to crumble when she enetered. She lost half of her left back legs and also her adventorous soul was also crushed along with her leg. She is still very playful even if she may seem scary to others. She loves those who are very close to her.

Then they were known as a very smart cat. They have helped many battles not by fighting but resolving the conflict between the two battlers.

          • I’m sorry if I make so many new characters but this one is important to my other character development. She won’t come in for a long time though
            Name: Stream
            Age: 6 years
            Gender: Female
            Description: Stream has a sleek white pelt with turquoise blue eyes. She has strong legs and has long whiskers
            Personality: Stream is kind and forgiving, although if you get her angry enough she will snap. She loves Dwindle and her kits, and many cats think she is a good character.
            Backstory: Stream was born near a stream. This is how she got her name. From her early life she understood many things about the world. She was very curious. When she first went hunting at 2 years, she met dwindle, a four-year old cat. She saw how sad he was and noticed that he smelled of the evil plague. He showed no symptoms of the strike however. She then realized the truth: one of his loved ones had died. He was all alone in this world. She took him into the glade and at first kept him in secret, worried about what would happen to both of them if the leader realized she had taken in a stray cat. Eventually he was found on a hunting patrol, but Stream was not with him, so they didn’t expect anything. They took him into the camp and Stream and Dwindle became mates. She had 3 kits, Lilac, Tree and River, and loves them very deeply. Unfortunately, two moons ago Dwindle left with her kits. Of course, he had asked her to come, hut when he refused he went anyway. This didn’t anger her too much, as she understood why he left. Instead, she left so that she could find and be with him.

      Personality : Jiajun is very skittish and tends to run away from his problems. He is shy and prefers not to speak, and has a penchant for keeping his troubles trapped inside of him. However, he is fairly friendly and does care for others. He has a lack of self-esteem, and is very sheltered, not knowing much of the world outside of the group that he was raised in.

      Backstory : Jiajun was born far outside the districts, in a group that placed heavy importance and family and had managed to survive each of the three harsh seasons for generations. The higher-ranking the family that a cat was a part of the higher chance that they would have a better life in this society. Jiajun was born to the highest-ranking family of the group, and was expected to become a fighter like the rest of his kin. However, Jiajun was weak, small, and possessed no obvious warrior-like qualities, so he was labeled an outcast. He did have one talent, though: he was artistic, and was skilled in playing music. It was while he was looking for her that he came across a strange black-and-blue cat that looked lost. Being the cat that wants to help others, he asked this cat where he wanted to go and what he wanted to find, and was met with the answer “To find other cats like you to help”. After seeing Zing’s confused look, curious of what he wanted, the cat told him about a new world that they could take him to and live in, free of worry and danger, but he warned him that he would leave his family behind. Zing remembered his sister,and asked the cat if he saw his sister who has been lost, wondering if she was in this place. The cat simply replied “I do not know” but said that if he liked helping other cats out so much, then he could help them with something. Zing happily agreed, forgetting about his family waiting for him back at his den. He was taken to a strange place, and when asking where he was, he was told that he was in ‘Paradise’. He still wanted to help this cat, so when posed with the question of leaving ‘Paradise’ to join this cat and help him, he agreed again, but when warned with danger he puffed out his chest and said that he will be fine. After finding out that he would be gifted with powers and immortality, he was even more excited to take part in this quest, thinking that it is all ‘Cool’.

He’s still kind-hearted, and tries to be empathetic towards others, though it is more of a curiosity to learn why other cats do the things they do.       Backstory : He was born and raised in Baxper, having lived there for most of his life.       Backstory : Like Piper and Anthracite, she was born and raised in Baxper.         also, when it says place of origin, it means which district, Bapxer, Haninga, the Glade, Iseti, or just in the world outside the district. Also the three seasons affect the whole world, so she would not have been in a snowy area her whole life

Crystal likes being with a select group of friends but not much more, and craves alone time. She is very, very bad at social interaction. Because of her lack in ability to make friends, she tends to hold the ones that she does have dearly, and often think of them more as siblings. With her friends she can be quite blunt and rude. She’s known for being tacky and a bit of a laughing stock. She tries her best to stray away from cults or gangs, but if one offers her goods for a quick job she doesn’t resist. Crystal is very creative and imaginative, spending lots of time dreaming about other worlds. She has a hard time saying no, and finds great pleasure in helping people. Sadly this has had a very bad affect on her, as she puts everyone’s perfect happiness above her own needs, because of this she sometimes goes days without even cleaning herself.

      Backstory : She grew up in a strict family, two parents, four children. That left her the older sister of three siblings, in a dangerous area. She protected her little brothers and sisters the best she could, but they were very anxious to get outside. Eventually this led to the second eldest getting his eye scratched by a gang leader. It got infected and after a while he lost all ability to see with that eye. Crystal feels very responsible for this and is sorry to this day. One day her parents left for a meeting and never returned. She now lives in a small shack with her siblings, doing her best to fulfill her mom’s duty.

      Personality:
      A little blunt in words and pretty quiet. Often, she doesn’t understand emotions that well, especially when they play a part in someone’s decisions. In some ways, she’s naive and it’s a little hard to believe how little she understands when it comes to matters of the heart. She has that sort of “easy to fade into the background” vibe to her.

      Place of origin in the world: Bapxer

      Backstory:
      To say that Fog had a happy life prior to entering the Tests would be a slight exaggeration. Oh, she lived comfortably enough with a roof to block the rain, a nest to sleep in at night, and a small family to share body heat with when the streets of Bapxer grew cold, but that was the extent of what you could call her blessings. Her family was one of circumstance; her parents? They were survival partners before an accident resulted in her litter being born. Her two sisters? Aloof and independent. Her sole brother? Presumed dead from the unseen terrors that prowl the city. Fog’s family was connected solely by blood and the logic that sticking together would be better than living alone.

      Within her family, she didn’t really have a need for names. Her parents were the dark gray one and the light gray one, her eldest sister had amber eyes, her second eldest sister had yellow eyes that were just lighter than the eldest, and her little brother had green eyes that were a welcome sight in the gray world of Bapxer. She herself just looked like the dark gray one, but with yellow eyes. After her brother went missing, she became the “little one” and it was only a chance encounter with an overeager cult that led to her having a name. Turns out, not having a name made it hard for other cats to talk with or talk about her, so her parents chose Fog and the rest of her family got names as well. Something about the name never felt right to her, like a knot of fur she can’t untangle, but she keeps it for convenience. Maybe one day, she’ll find the right name for her.

      Since she had little to no real relationship with her family, Fog is very emotionally stunted and defaults to logic when she struggles with her own feelings. Living in Bapxer has taught her how to be careful with what she says (or to just not say anything) around other cats, but she does pride herself on her speed.

On the way to Iseti, Bubbles other brother, Gray, caught The Strike and before it was to late spread to the vulnerable Fernflower. They both died. Having only her old, sad father, Bubble traveled to Iseti, after a few days her father died and she is still in Iseti today.

When Pilate came to him, Riley thought that he might as well leave, it wasn’t like there was anything he was leaving behind him

More and more cats started calling her Fire Lily, after the poisonous, yet beautiful flower, instead of her birth name, Wisteria. She took the name as a sign of power, and refuses to show signs of weakness. She hasn’t spoken to anyone nicely since her littermate, Violet, was killed and probably won’t until she finds someone similar. Her mother had three litters, and she was in the last one. She chose to participate in the tests so that her siblings kits and all of her family to come would be safe, protected.

She travelled the world outside the districts offering medicinal supplies and “cures” for many diseases such as The Strike for a small fee of food, but whether her practices and methods work or not is unknown. (think of her like a Plague Doctor or Witch Doctor) When Polia season struck the outside districts once and cats were begging for Vogel to visit them and help ‘cure’ their sick loved ones, she was nowhere. Some just thought she had died treating other cats, others were suspecting that she had grown tired of doing things that wouldn’t work and stopped it altogether, but the reason why she suddenly disappeared because she was given the chance to escape her life, help a god and possibly gain god-like powers and immortality in return, and she couldn’t decline on that offer for her own selfish benefit.

      Backstory : Having lived in Bapxer for most of her life, Columbia found herself constantly in fear of encountering the monsters said to be lurking the streets of her home. However, she tried to pull through and continue fighting alongside her gang – after all, she was somewhat of a fan of conflict, and it let her take her anger out on others (she knew this was bad; she did not care) She had been with that gang for most of her life, but her fright of the place finally taking over after one of the members had disappeared, she left, leaving Bapxer and the gang behind – she knew she’d be seen as a traitor for ditching them, but she felt as if she didn’t have a choice. She left, aiming to live outside the districts. Columbia later came across a tom by the name of Star, and had ended up sticking with him since, eventually becoming mates. She joined the Tests as she still feared that somehow, the monsters in Bapxer would eventually kill her.

      Personality : He has a barbed tongue, and refuses to back down from a fight – it doesn’t help that he’s quite rash, getting into situations that would likely have never happened had he kept quiet. Star feels uneasy around others as he is rather distrustful of those new to him, and he is hesitant to take action. He does care about those close to him, and is rather protective of them as well – he is also quite clever, and tries to think outside the box.

      Backstory : He used to live in Iseti with his family, with them taking great pride in tunneling, as they had been known to have a line of great tunnelers. Star? He was not meant for tunneling, and that was made clear every time he tried to – he constantly grew tired, and he could hardly make a dent when he tried his best. He was seen as an outcast within his family, and thus he was dubbed “Picayune” – it described his status within the family, and how he’d never live up to their standards. One day he found a small crystal in the caves, while on his own. Initially, he thought he’d present it to the Monarch – then he realized it wouldn’t matter what he did, he’d always be seen as Picayune to those around him. Star took it and fled Iseti, leaving outside the districts. He later met Columbia, who had also fled her home – they stuck together, and eventually became mates. He joined the Tests as he didn’t want to leave Columbia’s side.

      Personality : He is quite anxious about most things and finds it hard to trust others and accept help. He is extremely loyal to the people he trusts.

      Backstory : He was born to his parents in a tunnel with his littermates Clarity and Soleil. His pelt was not good for camouflage in the ice unlike the rest of the family so his parents forced him to stay inside and carry on digging their home in the tunnels whilst they, Clarity and Soleil went to socialise and hunt. He became introverted and cut of from the rest of the cats as a result of all the time he spent in his own. When Clarity and his father disappeared, his mother and Soleil confided in only each other and he had no idea of what had happened. After a month, his mother caught long sickness and died of it. He and Soleil cared for each other and became closer.

      Backstory : He was born to his mother and father with his littermates Clarity and Lumière. He was adventurous and would go exploring the tunnels and hunting with his mother whilst his sister Clarity went hunting with his father. He grew extremely close to his mother and when they found signs of a struggle and blood outside the tunnels in the snow they assumed both Clarity and her father had been taken by an eagle. They mourned with each other, unintentionally blocking out Lumière. When his mother died of long sickness he was distraught that she was gone and vowed to himself to never let anything harm Lumière, the last remaining member of his family. He is extremely protective of Lumière and would die to save him.

      Personality : Desear is slow to trust but once she does, she is loyal to the end. She is a bit clumsy and not very sporty. But, she has a gift for talking and it is often said that she could convince a bird that the sky is red.

      Backstory : Desear was born during a major flood. She, along with her family were washed away and it is unknown how she survived. Desear was adopted by a wandering she cat. This she cat took care of her but never showed any signs of love or appreciation, even when Desear caught prey for her. The cat never bothered to even name her and Desear was never sure why she adopted her in the first place. Desear was often the subject of anger and bore the brunt of the she cat’s frustration when something went wrong. When she got big enough, Desear left and named herself after her wish of a better life (desear is “to wish” in Spanish). Desear was never very good at fighting and so discovered other ways to survive. She developed an extraordinary talent for talking her way out of situations. A few months after she left her adopter, Desear found herself involved in crime. She became a brilliant con-artist and thief.
      She joined a group of thieves and was soon making a living for herself. But, she was betrayed. Desear was caught and nearly killed. She volunteered for the tests to try and redeem herself and escape retribution for her many crimes.

She wandered in the snow for a while, but she managed to run all the way to the Tests, where she found Pilates looking for volunteers. He seemed to offer her a better life, so she accepted. She met Sasha, and Sasha treated her kinda like a little sister.

Ash disliked Mouse from the beginning, and was always determined to be better than her, which she succeeded at. The group of cats they lived with were traditional, and they considered the best warriors to be quiet and clever. Ash was everything they wanted her to be – quiet but not reserved, clever but not a smart alec, good at hunting and fighting but not boastful, proper but not stuck-up. Mouse was loud, energetic, not smart in the way they wanted her to be, always scared away the prey and didn’t like hurting others, would rather play than fight, didn’t care for traditions. Most of the group didn’t pay attention to Mouse, but her father tried to be kind to her. Soon after, their father died of the pollen, and Ash blamed Mouse. Several other members of the group also died of the pollen shortly after, and the group split up. Mouse was on her own, because Ash had abandoned her. She managed to find Ash, who was with a different group now, but Ash denied knowing Mouse and sent her away. Mouse was heartbroken. When Pilate asked her to join the Tests, she agreed, because she wanted to stop all the cruelty in the world.

      Personality : She tends to be very closed off from other cats. She doesn’t open up to others, but will always listen to concerns and try to give advice. Is very defensive of her own emotions and past. Doesn’t try to let small things shake her up, but one wrong move can leave her spinning out of control. Is very protective and caring to anyone who gets past her rough exterior. Is extremely loyal and would never betray you unless it was a tricky situation.

      Backstory : Was born outside of the districts, and lived with her family. Her relationship with her father(Sido) was rocky. He was never really around and never listened to anything she had to say. He would threaten her and destroyed her self-esteem. Her mother(Mary) was better, but she never felt particularly close to her. She was nice, took care of her, loved her, but there was nothing more to it. She had a sister, called Luna. Thorn was always compared to Luna when meeting her parent’s friends, and no matter how close she thought she was supposed to be to her, it was impossible. They were never on bad terms, but Thorn was always in her sister’s shadow, invisible almost. Then when she was about a year old Polia came, and split her family apart. Fearful of the Strike, her father demanded they all split apart. Thorn lived on her own until the Season was over. She later found her mother was dead, but she never saw her father or sister again. Dreading to have to go through it again, she tried to find a place without the horrid seasons, she met up with a loner, who guided her to Haninga. There she continued to mature. She eventually joined the army, and in order to prove she was of some use to them, she didn’t shy away from a chance to kill. She didn’t like it, nor hate it. It was just a part of her duty, and she didn’t complain. She joined the Tests hoping that she could put her skills to the test, and that maybe someone would know her as “Thorn” not “Luna’s sister.”

      Bold, stubborn, sassy and spitfire-y, but also kind, loyal, brave, and can be shy around those she’s scared of.

      Backstory!
      Nightshade was born in the Dallas Texas region to Cream, her mother, Thorn, her father, and Eagle, her brother. She grew up happy, not having a reason to fight for anything.
      Then, when she was 6 months old, her brother got tangled in thorn bushes. They squeezed him tightly, and he died of blood loss. Since Nightshade was closest to Eagle, the blow hit her- hard.
      From that day on, she trained harder than ever. All she’d wanted to do was avenge her brother, but that all changed when she met Rocky.
      Suddenly, she had someone she could relate to. Rocky loved her for who she was, not for what she was like before Eagle’s incident. They fell in love, and are sweet and kind to eachother. Nightshade found out that she is unable to bear kits at the time being, but Rocky didn’t care, and they are very battle-hardened and strong.

      • Heya just want to say theres a few issues in the form. Firstly, I’m really sorry but your character has an unnatural design and I can’t accept her design.
        Also, for what district they are from I mean what place in the world I’ve created. There’s more info in the info page which will tell you your options.
        The types of powers are also listed there, water is one but its water and poison instead, there are set power groups

      Age : 32 moons
      Gender and pronouns : female she/her
      Description : small grey she-cat with pale blue eyes and a ragged piece of black cloth around her neck.
      Personality : formerly a Snow Wraith, she has no recollection of her past or true name. She does her best not to show emotion, as she believes she would be seen as weak. She will stop at nothing to achieve her goals, but despite all of that, she feels incredibly venerable thanks to the voices in her head.
      Place of origin in the world (can include just outside the districts): outside the districts
      Backstory : forced to flee into Iseti to escape a hostile group of cats, Wraith was driven insane by the vast amount of snow, and became a Snow Wraith. She stalked the area around a tunnel entrance for nearly a day, getting closer and closer to death until finally a cat emerged. They saw her and tried to retreat back into the tunnel, but Wraith cut them off, forcing them to run away from safety. She chased them for what felt like an eternity, closing the gap between them little by little. The snow started to end, and was replaced by hard black stuff. The cat she was chasing stumbled and fell, their paws bleeding from some small clear rocks, and Wraith killed them instantly. Satisfied, she fell asleep, ready to die.

      The next day, Wraith heard a voice. It was her own voice, telling her to get up. She did, and she found the cat she had killed still beside her. Terrified at what she had done, Wraith took the black piece of cloth they had been wearing, promising to live for both of them. The voice came back many times, guiding her to safety and helping her survive. She learned to trust the voice, and when Pilate came, she followed it to the Tests.

      Pain and death meant nothing to her, for she had conquered both.

      Backstory : from a young age, Revan was obsessed with joining the military. It was all he could think about. All he would talk about. The other cats his age found him annoying, and they often teased and bullied him until he couldn’t take it anymore. One night, when everyone was asleep, he heard them making plans to kill him.
      The next day, Lye, Sparrow, Dragon, Breeze and Smoke mysteriously… Disappeared.
      And so Revan joined the military, quickly building a reputation for himself. Some nights, he would vanish for an hour and return with his white paws matching his reddish pelt. When asked what he was doing, he simply replied, “Hunting.” although he never returned with any prey. When Pilate came to him, he jumped at the thought of a challenge.

      Now he could finally do what he was made to do.

      Backstory : Grew up outside of the districts, he didn’t really do much with his life except hunt with his mother. But one day he met a pretty she-cat. Y’know the story, they spent some time together, decided to become mates. They both wanted kits, but it wasn’t written in the stars. But they still loved each other. But little did he know, she had a brother in Bapxer. A friend of her’s got word to them that the monsters had taken him. Without a moment’s hesitation, his mate ran back to her home, leaving him in the dust. After about a year, he hadn’t seen her. Fearful, he journeyed to Bapxer, only to find out that she too, had been taken by them. He spent the rest of his time before the Tests searching for the monsters. Funny how, when you wanted to find it, the more it eluded you. When he was offered a chance in the Tests, he didn’t think much of it, and joined immediately. He hopes to perhaps learn how to fight the monsters.

She stayed there for a couple of months, then decided to go back to the glade. So she found a bandana and left again during polia season (bandana acted like a mask). But she ate some prey and caught a sickness (that wasn’t the Strike). And she thought she was gonna die. And barely made it back to the glade.       Backstory: On the outside, Karina’s just a bouncy bundle of kitten soul, but in reality, she hides lots of secrets. She’s lived outside of the districts for her whole life, distrustful of the many governing bodies in those lands. Somewhere out there, she picked up some healing ability. She is an excellent healer, revered by those that she has helped, and she’s able to heal almost anywhere with any materials. The methods she uses, however, are…slightly unethical, but they work all the same which is all that matters to her. She isn’t the kind of cat that goes out of their way to be cruel, but once she knows she’s done her best to help someone she lets nature handle the rest, no matter if the outcome is positive or negative.

      Backstory : Was born into a cult that worshiped a cat who claimed to have survived the strike (he didn’t actually). Said cat told the others that he had been cured, and had been handed picked by the gods to lead the cats to prosperity. He had cats walk outside of the district during polia, as part of a right of passage. If they caught it a sickness, they were deemed unworthy and left to die. If they returned healthy, they had been chosen by Yreni to survive. The cats in the cult were there either because they truly believed the cat, or they were to afraid to leave. Pyr didn’t believe any of this, but he enjoyed the protection the cult offered. Slowly, he began to rise up, using his cunning and ruthlessness. He eventually killed the leader, hid the body, and told his followers that Yreni had picked him as the new successor. He sent any cat who went against him outside of the district, and told them if they could survive a full season of Polia they could return. Predictably, few did. He joined the tests with the hope of becoming more powerful.

      Backstory : Dux doesn’t remember much about their childhood. Nothing particularly remarkable happened until their parents vanished, leaving them in charge of their younger brother, Raven. They lived on the streets, with Dux struggling to provide for both them and Raven. They were on the brink of starvation, when Raven tried to steal food from Pyr’s cult. Pyr caught the young tom, and was going to have him killed, when Dux arrived in search of their brother. They first offered their life in place of Raven’s, but Pyr was just planning on killing both of them anyways, so Dux pledged to serve Pyr forever if he would let Raven stay in the cult but be kind to him and keep him safe. Pyr happily agreed, gleeful to have a slave. If Pyr ever questioned his orders, he would merely threaten to have Raven killed. When Pyr joined the tests, he ordered Dux to come with him to protect him and make sure he succeeds. Dux despises Pyr with all of their heart but is too afraid of the consequences if they try to rise against him.

Nata always believed that she had done something wrong and she was the reason her parents were always arguing and why they weren’t very close to her. One night, they had an especially heated argument and Nata heard her name. Then both of them left their home and wandered out into the cold because they were so angry. Nata begged them to stay, but they just ignored her and ran off. The next day, Nata went to look for her parents and found that her father had suffered from Lost sickness and died and her mother was killed by Snow Wraiths. She forever blamed their death on herself and gets very anxious and panicky during arguments or even around arguments. Nata now tends to stay away from other cats and makes friends rarely to avoid getting hurt if they leave her. She joined the Tests to prove that she was worth something and not just a cause of misery for everyone. She also joined because most cats are named for their greatest achievement, but she hadn’t done anything so she wanted a chance to prove herself.

He was kidnapped when he was a kit by a rogue group, but they were attacked and killed, and the young kit was left alone, in the cold. A kind old she-cat found him and cared for him, and she taught him kindness, but he was still young when his real parents found him, slaughtering the she-cat. They were cruel and toxic to him, not even giving him a name, just calling him “Runt”. They lived on their own, away from the gangs, and Runt was quickly forced to kill, and all his kindness was stripped away, leaving a killer. It wasn’t much longer before a gang killed his parents in front of his eyes, and Runt escaped. He stumbled upon the Glade, where he took shelter in an old, miserable, abandoned hut. It rained constantly in those few days, and it was miserably cold. After he’d been staying there for a week or so, a vicious group from the Glade attacked him, and, without thinking, Runt killed one of them. He’d blindly followed his parents after they’d been so cruel to him, since it was really the only life he’d ever had. The group respected him, even though he’d killed one of their own members, and took him in. When they asked his name, he’d thought of Runt, but didn’t want to be called that. He felt like a curse to anyone he knew, so he said his name was Jinx, which he felt wasn’t as severe as the name Curse. He quickly rose to the top, killing any cats that weren’t part of their group. Inwardly, though, he felt lost, and suddenly unsure that killing was the right path. Soon after, Ash joined the group, and she instantly captivated him. He noticed how she made a multitude of friends, and how nice she seemed. He decided that he wanted to be like her. Up until now, he’d just been the resident murderer, never really interacting with anyone. Now, he tried to be like her, and someone succeeded. When Pilate asked them to join the Tests, Jinx was hesitant, but when Ash joined, he immediately did so as well – he copied everything she did, believing that she was completely right.

      Aliza was General Aci’s daughter, her mother died during childbirth, so her and her half brother Vulca were left under the care of Aci. Aci loved Aliza because she was his daughter, but was less fond of Vulca because he was the child of their mothers previous mate. Aliza was a strong soldier and keen to take part in the army but Aci never let her go to any dangerous places whilst her older brother Vulca who was less keen was always stationed where he didn’t want to be. One day Vulca was killed in the fight and Aliza was appalled by her fathers lack of compassion after his death. She was unhappy doing the easy jobs the in the army and yearned to see more action. That was when Hickory came into her life. He was charismatic and strong, and she instantly looked up to him and got a crush. He told Aliza about a group of mercenaries, totally illegal, that ran in the underground areas of Haninga. She was instantly wanting to be part of it. Aliza became an assassin behind her fathers back, killing cats regardless of the moral ground they held. She pledged to care about no cat and take the instructions whatever happened. Aliza was almost like a princess, so no one expected her to be a murderer. Eventually she got a job, kill General Aci, her father. She took it without remorse, remembering her pledge. But when she faced him down she hesitated, just for a second and her father hit back, calling for the guards. Aliza was captured and held in jail, awaiting trial and possible execution. She had broken many laws, become a mercenary, killed cats without the General’s permission and committed treason by attacking her father. When Pilate came to her she was desperate to get out of jail before they killed her.

      Backstory : Torrent was born in Baxper, an unforgiving place with danger in every corner. She had no one to take care of her except for her older brother named Comet and her friend Alder. They protected her and always supported her choices. Alder and Torrent were especially close, because they grew up together. One day,4 cats from a gang discovered Comet hunting, and Comet, being incredibly skittish, tried to run away, and he made the major mistake of running to his home, where Torrent and Comet were found. The gang overrun their home and Alder was killed trying to defend his home. After the merciless battle finished, the gang took Torrent captive, and meanwhile, Comet escaped before the battle began and Torrent never saw him again. After she managed to escape the gang, she lived alone, and since then has had major trust issues. Whenever she makes a friend, she is afraid that they willl leave her just as her brother did.

She is shy and quiet, and often feels insecure but is very loyal to her friends once she trusts them. Because of the way she was treated when she was younger, Rainfern lacks confidence and is often disappointed in herself. She is still haunted by memories of her past, especially at night. Rainfern is very emotional and often seeks affection from her friends. She can sometimes come off as clingy or fussy. Because she knows first hand how it feels to be rejected, Rainfern always makes sure to accept others.

      Backstory : Rainfern was born in The Glade, but her past was far from easy. She was born into a family of agressive, tough cats, so her parents thought Rainfern would be strong and fierce. They were very disappointed about her shy, quiet nature, and weren’t afraid to show it. Rainfern’s parents attempted to tell her how to be more tough, and she tried her very best to please them. She hid all her fears and pretended to want to be fierce, but that wasn’t her true personality so she failed the act. Her parents pretty much gave up on Rainfern then, and she gave up on being loved. They ignored her and instead showered her older brother Darkclaw with attention. Darkclaw enjoyed being the favorite one, and, noticing that his parents wouldn’t punish him for it, bullied and tortured his sister. At last, their cruelty became too much for Rainfern, and she fled, vowing that she would never treat anyone the was she had been treated.

Her parents had always desperately wanted a she-kit, so that they could marry her off to one of the leaders of a powerful cult, in order to earn them respect and maybe get others to fear them. So, when Rose was born, she became a pampered and spoiled princess. She had never faced any hardships at all, and her brothers were forced to do all of the work for her. When Rose was almost three, her parents came across Pyr’s cult. At the time, Pyr was quite a powerful figure in Bapxer, and her parents were ecstatic to find that he was available for Rose. They set the two cats up, and almost immediately, they fell in love. Of course, Rose’s parents were overjoyed at the respect they would earn if the two cats became mates, and therefore had no objection when Pyr said Rose had to come live with him in his cult. (Tbh, Bramble was quite happy about that too 😛 Vine actually liked Rose.) In the cult, Rose met Dux, and the two had an on and off friendship. Meanwhile, Rose and Pyr’s relationship was going nowhere but down. Slowly, Rose was becoming obsessed with the ginger tom, and she kept smothering him. Pyr didn’t like this much, and he felt that Rose was too dependent and gullible, and weak. Rose couldn’t fight and hunt, because she had never had to. Thus, she would reap the benefits of the cult, without contributing at all. Pyr put up with Rose for a few months, hoping that she would get better. Because there was no doubt, that if Rose could become a strong and willful cat, Pyr would take her as a mate. However, the cult was not happy with Rose, and began doubting Pyr as a leader. He decided to give Rose one more chance, but finally, he drew the line when she started ordering cats around because she was “the leader’s girlfriend.” Pyr ended his relationship with Rose, and exiled her from the cult. Heartbroken, but still quite cheerful, Rose went back to her parents. However, they disowned her shortly after leaning she had messed up all of their chances of being powerful figures in Bapxer. So, Rose was reduced to living alone, but Vine took pity on her, and ever since then, they had lived together, Vine still pampering and hunting and fighting for Rose. When Rose first heard about the Tests, she had no interest in joining, until she learned that Pyr had joined. The she-cat was still madly in love with the tom, and she believed, that once Pyr saw her again, he would forgive her, and she would resume the post of his girlfriend, maybe even mate. So, she ditched Vine while he was asleep, and ran off to join the Tests.

But she’s trying to break out of this, and is making some headway. She has many interests about her birthplace and The Glade, especially wanting to know more about the poisonous pollen.

She was nearly killed and had to flee again, this time deep into a forest. She later vanished, then reappeared hunting. It remains unclear where she went. (She was actually just not seen for a long time but no one knows this) Minnow later had kits but had to keep them a secret because her father could track their mother and kill Minnow as well as her kits.       Chick was adopted into the True Cats as a kitten, where she was called Butterfly. She had two cats who acted as her adopted mothers, Switchgrass and Bulrush. She was a very curious kitten, and by the time it got to her 7 moon ceremony with the true cats, she had got into lots of trouble for asking too many questions. As she walked into the flames she heard fighting above and all of a sudden Switchgrass tumbled down into the fire as well. She said that they had to run, so Butterfly fled with her mother. Before they escaped Butterfly had to see Switch get attacked by Daffodil, and again on their travels more true cats attacked them. When she finally reached Haninga and took a new name, Chick, she thought she could finally be happy. But one day after about 2 moons spent in Haninga, Switch vanished in the night. Chick was distraught, and when she heard cats talking about a god giving them offers to leave, she stayed up all night looking for the god to try and find Switch. Eventually she met Pilate and asked to join the tests to find her mother again

      Place of origin in the world: Bapxer

      Backstory: Ombre grew up in Bapxer. When he was little, he heard horror stories about the monsters and soulless cats out in the streets. His parents and sister, Umber, were often praising Yreni and even giving minor sacrifices to her. (He never really caught on to that, which could have caused him some trouble had other bad events I’m about to mention not have happened.) Then, one day, his father went out to go hunt, and was later discovered soulless. Terrified, Umber, Ombre, and their mother huddled in fear in their home for many days. Umber, who is older than Ombre, tried to convince them they would be safe, however Ombre’s mother had been losing her own mind over her grief towards the father (she’d lost so much prior, but Ombre would never know her backstory for certain), and eventually, due to being so weak, began experiencing amnesia and mental illnesses. Now, Umber looks after her mother to this day. However, the siblings’ mother began to blame Ombre for his father’s death for irrational reasons such as that Ombre ate so much of the prey (well, he did) that that’s why his father had to hunt that quickly after having gone only a day prior. She knows better than anyone how dangerous those streets are. So, Umber regretfully convinced Ombre that, for everyone’s safety (mostly for his own safety and for his mother’s), he’d have to leave. Ombre’s heart was shattered; he had to leave his home and his sister behind, leave behind his violent-towards-him mother who no longer loved him and hardly remembered him, and his father was soulless and had to be disposed of. Ombre had known no other family members (hint about the mother’s backstory: they’re all dead on her side), but he tried to make the hard journey to find his uncle on his father’s side, as Umber had instructed him (she is older and had heard and seen more about the siblings’ father’s family tree). Ombre lived with his uncle for a few months, but his uncle was bad to him, because his uncle was in a difficult situation both financially and emotionally. (Also, perhaps his uncle was getting sick but didn’t want to tell Ombre that and wasn’t sure what to do.) Eventually, his uncle began to lose his mind, too (this is a terrible world to live in, after all) and attacked Ombre; in self-defense, Ombre killed him. However, Ombre blames himself to this day for his uncle’s death, and 50% blames himself for his father’s, as his mother’s haunting words had gotten to him. Ombre then – knowing he could never go home, and that his mother and sister were surely safe (right? uh-oh) – began to live on the streets. He had no money or life anymore. He joined a gang, but he still had a moral code. Therefore, the gang eventually cast him away for being “weak”. Ombre then lived on the streets and sometimes he would hide for fear that a monster would spot him someday… until he was asked to join in The Tests. Ombre doesn’t care about riches for himself or glory or having magic powers and immortality or whatever, but he thinks that helping the world and even helping gods is better than living the awful life he lives every single day now. Plus, if he does become powerful, perhaps he can become richer or just use his powers to help out Umber and his mother (who are hopefully still alive, but he can’t be sure), and make a better life for himself as well. Or he can go (or bring them, maybe?) to this special world, where he no longer has to feel very much (if at all) hunger and pain, and maybe he can make a new life for himself there and try to forget some of his guilt. He isn’t completely sure how this works yet, but he’s definitely in. To The Tests!

She then went with him back to Iseti and they lived peacefully in a cave together, but one day he went hunting for too long in the cold and he died. She found his body the next day and blamed herself for letting him go out that long. Then she was ambling around for a while more. Iseti was the only place she could go, but it constantly reminded her of Dove’s death. She is now looking for a place to belong and stay, away from the dangers of the cold and somewhere she will be accepted, but doesn’t want to give her feelings away again so she won’t have another mate and won’t have to go through the pain of losing him.

      Description: Handsome golden tabby tom with green eyes. He has scars on his shoulder from the army, and a torn left ear. He has a limp due to an accident. (More on that in the backstory.)
      Personality: Courageous, intelligent, analytical, logical, quick-witted, strong, friendly, compassionate, romantic.

      Backstory: Horace was born to a high-ranked family in Haninga. His family knew the General well, and all in all, was highly feared and respected. Horace had one littermate, a sister called Ember. They both got on really well, and were great warriors. A year or two later, Horace’s parents had another kit, just one this time. It was another she-cat, and her name was Solaria. (hehehe) As soon as his younger sister was born, Horace felt that he had to protect her with his life. However, after Solaria was born, the siblings’ parents lost interest in them. They couldn’t care less what happened with them; all they cared about was their fame, respect, and power. Now, Horace was still quite young, but he took charge of fending for his two sisters. He hunted for them, and cared for them. But even though Horace cared for his siblings as though they were his kits, the pressure of training, and having no parents was slowly driving Ember insane. She wasn’t quite mentally damaged, but she was prone to mood swings, and her emotions usually got the better of her. On the bright side, the three of them were brilliant warriors. So brilliant that many thought they were even better than their parents. Of course, their parents didn’t take this news well. They knew they couldn’t ruin their children’s names or even threaten or abuse them, because they would lose respect and make enemies. So they were reduced to using the only option left. Murder. Horace’s parents decided to go for Ember first, because they knew she’d be easy. They only needed to get into her head. True enough, one day, they cornered Ember on a cliff. Right below was a raging lava river. If she fell, she’d be dead immediately, and her parents could put it as a “tragic accident.” Ember’s parents toyed with her feelings and her head, and like always, Ember let her emotions get the best of her, and she fell off the cliff and died. Solaria was quite young when this happened, and having lost a sister was too much for her to handle alone. She needed a friend. The young Solaria befriended Aliza, who Horace thought was a bad influence. The two had many arguments on this, and when Aliza tried to kill the general, Solaria lost all of her fighting spirit. Horace had to care for her more than ever, and sadly, while he was out hunting for her on the very cliff that Ember died, his parents cornered him too. Instead of bothering to mess with him, Horace’s father simply tried to push him off. However, Horace was a formidable fighter, and he took his parents with him. Somehow, he managed to drag both of them with him as he fell. Now, the only thing eye witnesses saw was Horace and his parents falling into the lava, and everyone believed them dead. But Horace wasn’t dead. As soon as he fell into the river, a loner called Scorch pulled him out before too much damage had been done. Horace barely survived, but his back right paw went lame. Horace lived in an abandoned village with Scorch for a while. Solaria believed Horace dead, and she started training twice as hard as before as an attempt to avenge her siblings. She became one of the greatest army cats, but she was still haunted by her past. As soon as the Tests arrived, she joined to get away from her pain-filled past and to build a future. Horace had always wanted to find his little sister, but he had to stay with Scorch and heal before he could. Horace had healed and learned to manage without a useful paw, and was about to find Solaria, when she joined the Tests. Horace joined to find his sister. (Oh boy that took forever and a lot of creativity 😛 )

      • If he left the glade at 1 year old he most likely wouldn’t be around ! There’s poisonous pollen that can be treated whilst you are still in the glade but not if you leave, so he wouldn’t be able to leave. Also the glade is known as a place of peace

        Really sorry to mess with your backstory idea, maybe he might fit better in Haninga ? There they would have had battles now and again and he could leave

      When Kale’s father was just over a year old,he fell in love. Neither he nor his mate were old enough or mature enough to properly raise children, so when Kale’s mother discovered she was expecting kits, they both panicked. Kale’s father told his mate that it didn’t matter, that they would raise them together, and that they’d figure it out somehow. He wasn’t ready to be a father, but he was determined to do his best. Kale’s mother, on the other hand, didn’t want kits at all. The day after they were born, she fled the Glade, (and probably died because of it) leaving Kale’s father alone and trying to find a substitute for mother’s milk. He managed to find a plant that made up for some of what the kits were lacking in nutrients, but only managed to keep one kit alive: Kale. Because her mother wasn’t around to feed her, Kale grew up weak and frail. The poisonous plants of the Glade quickly took a toll on her already weak body, and no matter what herbs she ate, she was fighting a loosing battle. Her father loved her dearly, and tried to make her life as easy and safe as possible, even though local healers said it was impossible for her to make it pass three years old, at most. Kale, despite her father’s careful care, was all spirit and fight. She wanted to live her life to the fullest, even if that made it shorter, but her father wanted as much time with her as possible. She loved him, but wanted to do something with her life. So, when Pilate approached with the offer of the tests, she figured she had nothing to loose. It broke her father’s heart, and she hated to hurt him, but she’d either die on an adventure or come back stronger.

      • I feel kinda bad for saying this again but there most likely would not have ever been raid on the glade, and if he was only two days old he probably wouldn’t have been able to move away and Bapxer is a pretty big distance from the Glade
        If there was just a raid in his area, and he grew up outside the districts that would be fine ! and I can get that his mum might have fled to bapxer carrying him in her jaws. That would be fine with me !!!! Their parents didn’t care for them much, so they brought them to the market, and were taken because of their young age. Flower quickly rose to the top of this gang using her cunning wits. She joined the Tests to have even more control over her gang, and to get powers.

Flower preferred not to get her paws dirty, so she always tasked Spike with doing the killing – if a cat betrayed the gang, Spike would kill them. He joined the Tests to look after Flower.

      Name: Lézarde

      Age: 4 years

      Gender and pronouns: female, she/her

      Description: reddish-brown tabby she-cat with green eyes

      Personality: sassy, upfront, brutally honest, loyal, energetic, strong-spirited, strong-willed, fun-loving when the situation allows for it, sometimes reckless, honorable, will go off on tangents and is super observant and she sometimes makes cats uncomfortable when she does this

      Place of origin in the world: Haninga

      Backstory: At the age of 2 years, Lézarde would soon join the army for Haninga. She was very excited to, as well! It would be following in her family’s pawsteps, but she was raised to love the idea of fighting, so she definitely wanted to follow in her family’s legacy. Her entire family is made up of strong-spirited fighters, and her mother and grandfather are/were high-ranking generals (her grandfather eventually died from the Strike, not even in the heat of battle). She won’t just attack someone out of anger, but she loves the glory of a real battle and can be pretty reckless in the midst of chaos. But then, her older sister, Lacerta, suffered third-degree burns when, in the midst of yet another battle (with outsider cats who wanted to get refuge in Haninga through force), the back half of her body (the tail-end half) was thrusted off of one of the rocks dangerously close towards the lava, some of it actually touching her, and the rest burning her from just being nearby to the lava or from the flickering embers flying up towards her. The burns actually got to some nerves in her body, and parts of her are paralyzed. Lacerta’s body would never be the same again, without a miracle. Lézarde, being a she-cat with honor, and knowing that her parents were already well-trained for war and were rougher than her and so would be more helpful elsewhere, decided that she would devote her life to looking after, and trying to find a cure for, her sister. Lézarde and Lacerta’s grandmother eventually retired from the fighting – she is less of a fighter than most of the family, much more peaceful, and retired with honor but with relief – and now helps Lézarde to look after Lacerta. Lézarde’s purpose for joining The Tests is to help bring Lacerta to this better world and/or to find a cure for Lacerta, since Lézarde doesn’t fully understand all of the rules and terms of this mysterious, perfect world that has been promised and this is all wishful thinking. Lézarde is doing this solely (or at least primarily) for her sister, and will sacrifice everything to heal or help Lacerta. With the grandmother in mind – since their grandmother is in good health and shall be fine to be alone with Lacerta – Lézarde – with regret because she hates to leave her sister, but Lacerta said it was okay, she understood, was proud of Lézarde, and was eternally grateful – went off to The Tests after being asked to join.

      Backstory: She lived with her dad and two younger littermates, along with several other cats in a small camp outside the districts. Her mom had left her dad as soon as she gave birth to her kittens because she “didn’t have the time to take care of the little brats,” and her dad became bitter and harsh as a result. The three other cats in the group did most of the raising since their father wouldn’t, and as the oldest, Garnet felt responsible for taking care of her two younger siblings, Topaz and Zircon. However, the two had a pretty bad relationship and always found reasons to scrap with each other; it wasn’t typical sibling rivalry, they despised each other. They constantly dragged her into their arguments, demanding her to work it out for them, and for a while she did. Eventually, though, she had grown excruciatingly tired of it, and decided to ignore them completely, along with her jerk of a father. She only ever talked to and acknowledged the presence of the other three cats from then on, and her father and siblings grew to hate her. It continued like that for another two years before one of the three cats caught the Strike. When he started to cough, she was hesitant to be near him, but was mildly hopeful that it was just a cough. Then he started coughing up the bile, and soon the other two cats caught it. She was terrified; the only three cats in her life that she liked at all were almost certainly going to die, and she could do nothing but try not to catch it herself. All three died within days of each other. Her father was unfazed, her siblings were mildly upset but blamed each other for their deaths, and she was horrified. The next night, she slipped away while the others were sleeping because she wanted nothing to do with her family and preferred the idea of living on her own. Topaz and Zircon woke up, though, and followed her without attacking each other in the process. When they realized that she was abandoning them with their father, they pounced on her and fought her. They bit off one of her toes and broke her tail during the fray. She wasn’t very well-trained in fighting, but she used what few moves she did know and bolted away as quickly as she could, escaping them easily. When the opportunity to participate in the Tests arrived, she accepted, hoping that she’d be able to do something good for once to make up for destroying her relationship with her younger siblings (although she does highly dislike them now, she regrets not trying to help them get along).

      Amaris was born in the glade and raised there until her mother caught the pollen poison and no one would go to the forest, let alone Amaris get it herself. Her mother died, and her father left her alone, leaving to another district. Amaris, angered, decided to attempt killing the healers. After all, if her mother couldn’t live, then neither could they. She slit one’s throat and ended up being exiled for murder. Amaris decided to wander around to find cats like her, and so she did: in Bapxer. She learned how to be quiet and sly and soon when from innocent to a cold-blooded serial killer.

      • There’s a bit of an issue in the form, its just that if she was raised in the Glade, she would not be able to leave. The pollen is basically something that effects all cats but is very manageable twithin the glade, every cat just eats these certain herbs

      Backstory: Jessy used to be sweet and kind. She lived with her older sister, Amber, and her parents in Bapxer. They were a happy family, and their cheerfulness usually made others, even the most evil, a little bit nicer. One day, Jessy’s parents got into a bit of trouble with a powerful gang. It had been a cold, harsh winter, and they were caught stealing food. The gang killed them, leaving Jessy and Amber orphaned quite young. Amber took responsibility for Jessy, though their parents’ murder left her quite broken. She wasn’t right anymore, but she tried to be herself around Jessy. Meanwhile, the death of her parents left Jessy cold and upset. The sisters were no longer the cheerful cats they once were. However, they loved each other more than ever. Amber found two pieces of abandoned wire, one silver and one gold, and wrapped them around her’s and Jessy’s forelegs. She said it would be a mark of their unbreakable bond. This cheered both of them up a little, and they got some of their old happiness back. Then, tragedy struck the sisters once again. Amber had gone out to hunt, and she didn’t realize she was hunting in the territory of the same gang that had killed her parents. The gang did not tolerate trespassers, and instead of simply killing Amber quickly, they made her death long and painful. When the news reached Jessy, she was overcome with grief. But this time, instead of making her upset, it made her angry. How dare they kill off her family like they were prey? The anger fueled a strong desire for revenge, but Jessy wasn’t the best fighter. So she went to Leo. He was a strong and smart cat, one of the most feared in Bapxer, and definitely one of the best fighters. Leo trained Jessy. He told her that she could never defeat an entire gang head on, so she became an assassin. She used stealth, and valued her brain rather than her brawn. She was vicious, with no conscience to stop her. Cold and bitter, she was determined to avenge her family. So, when Leo said she was ready, Jessy picked off every single member of that gang, one by one. But she still wasn’t satisfied. She hated the whole world. She joined the Tests to avenge every crime ever committed against her family.

      Personality : Shy and timid, Misty will do anything to avoid conflict. She is a perfectionist but is not a show-off, rather the opposite, as she is very shy and often avoids talking to others. Misty is gentle, sweet, and caring. She lacks determination and passion, unlike her friend Minnow, and is very sensitive (in a good way). She is often more of a listener than a talker, and is a soothing cat, thoughtful, dreamy, and patient. She is actually very lighthearted and playful once you get to know her and is friendly, however she almost never interacts with anyone so many see her as just a soft-spoken cat. She is soft-spoken, although not as much as others see it. She is wise, however can be seen as a coward as she tends to flee at the first sign of danger, however, she is brave when needed. She is knowledgeable, clever, and intelligent as well.

      Backstory : Misty was born to Birch and Lavender, and had four older brothers, Ice, Cinder, Bark, and Bramble. She also had an older sister named Mint, who loved Misty and wished the best for her. However, after a year Mint died giving birth to her kits, Petal, Dawn, and Leaf. Devastated, Misty left Iseti for a short while and came back, but her brothers wanted to live as rogues despite their easy life until then, and decided they needed to “train”— and use Misty as a training tool. Her brothers were cruel, vicious, and brutal to her, not caring about her and giving her her many scars. Having had enough, Misty fled from her home and lived as a loner. There, she met a cat called Violet whom became one of her greatest friends. Later, Misty and Violet met Minnow, who looked desperate. The three she-cats developed a strong bond. Misty later came to the Tests because she wanted more friends.

Birch and Lavender babied him and Ice felt uncomfortable with this, so he decided to prove he was strong, joining a gang of cats who were rogues and killed many cats including Birch and Lavender, and hates Misty, vowing to kill her. He only used Misty as a “training tool” because he hated her and wanted her to die because he thought she was a coward. He was later tricked into killing Bark, who had joined the gang with him. Bitter with guilt, Ice joined the Tests to make up for Bark’s death and to prove himself to his dead parents.

    Backstory : When Storm was younger, he was originally named Cloud, and he was involved in an avelanche where his front paws were crushed. Storm was rescued but now has trouble with chronic pain and guilt, due to the fact that he was banished from his rogue group., although he learned to adapt from the injuries. He has made some friends but they either would get killed or abandon him. He thinks he has a curse which makes him guilty and second guess his choices.     Name: Thunder

    Gender and Pronouns: Male (He/Him)
    Description: Dark gray tom with a slightly nicked ear and green eyes.
    Personality: Kind, brotherly, funny, smart, secretive.
    Place of Origin: Bapxer
    Backstory: Thunder’s family belonged to a gang but this gang had always been very bloodthirsty and cruel. They called anyone who didn’t want to get blood on their paws “weak.” Thunder had always had a good heart, and when the gang captured a few rogue kits, Thunder refused to so much as touch them. Outraged, the gang subjected Thunder to many beatings, and his family, ashamed of him, disinherited him. Thunder continued to refuse to kill any cats, and eventually, he was thrown out of the gang. He became a lone cat on the streets, and one day, his brother came after him and attacked him. His brother was fighting to kill, but Thunder had always been stronger. He killed him in defense, and fled in horror. He has lived alone since then, afraid to meet any cats in case he killed them too. The pain of killing another cat hurt him deeply.

Torrent had a matching one but she lost it. Stark’s parents made sure that she was always safe, and they protected her from the outside world, until Stark’s dad was killed during an earthquake. Although Stark’s mom was grieving, she mated with another tom who Stark didn’t like, which made her jealous, and she left her family.

Although her paw was unusable, she learned how to use herbs and became useful to her family by fixing wounds, but she still wished that she didn’t go to the cave.

    Gender: Non- binary, xe and xem pronouns. Xe are ok with they/them pronouns, but in general prefer xe/xem pronouns.
    Description: light brown cat with one white paw. Xe have bright blue eyes, and a long, feathery tail. Xe have darker brown spots all over xem, which is why xe are named Spotty.

    Personality: sky, introverted, nervous, sweet, kindhearted, polite, a bit anxious, worrisome, quiet, honest, insecure.

    Place of origin: Iseti.

    Back story and origins: Spotty’s childhood was not a good one. Spotty’s parents did not approve of xem being non- binary, and abused xem in many ways. Spotty’s parents were named Kink (mother) and Scarred, (father.) Spotty couldn’t handle being abused any longer, and so xe ran away.
    Xe grew up under the guide of Bailey, a older cat. Spotty was heartbroken when Bailey died of liver cancer. Xe vowed to always remember her.
    Sexuality: xe are asexual aroromantic.

    Least preferred power: Fire and Shadows.

    Accessories: xe have a golden earring. It is all xe have left of Bailey. Bailey gave it to xem.

    Other: Spotty is very afraid of the color green, which embarrasses xem greatly, as it is not a common fear. Xe really like deviled eggs for some reason. Xe are quiet when you first meet xem, but once xe really get to know you, xe can be talkative.

    But because Spotty was abused for so long, xe often shy away from close bonds- shy away from a friend- because xe don’t want to be abused again, and xe don’t want to lose a friend like xe lost Bailey.

    • I adore xem !!!! Also a tip for using xe/xem pronouns, instead of xe are quiet you can say xe is quiet, if you were using they you would say they are, but for xe its usually xe is !!

    Note to Maple: If your still taking in new RP’s…here’s my character. I origionally was going to use three characters but I just fell in love with this one so I trashed the other two. Also, I got permission from Flamecloud to make her Pyr’s archenemey.
    Name : Sapphira Adi
    Age : 10 moons
    Gender and pronouns: Female, she/her
    Description: Sapphira Adi is a semi-longhaired she-cat, with a slender build, a smooth back, and a long plumey tail that tapers into an elegant point. She has silvery-blue, orange, black, and white mottled tortoiseshell coloration. Her eyes are an intense green.
    Personality: Sapphira Adi has a three-way personality-sometimes she takes on very charismatic, extroverted, and loving characteristics, other times, she’s the exact opposite-aggressive, moody, and edgy, and other times she’s mysterious, smooth, and dignified (her leader mode)-like a viper. She’s also very unpredictable and constantly switches from one personality to the next. On the inside, she’s full of dark secrets, and deep scars. She hates people asking questions about her personal life or how she is. That’s because she feels things deeply, and sometimes those deep feelings cause complicated internal conflicts within her. To put it another way, she’s never ‘okay’ but refuses to admit that to herself. In short, Sapphira is a very complicated cat, and ultimately, it’s best to describe her a collection of paradoxes or controversies.

    Backstory : On Sapphira Addi’s 6th birthday her parents saw a bloodred sign, causing them to be on edge the whole evening. Young Sapphira didn’t know what all was wrong with her parents but she desperately tried to comfort them-but to no avail, and soon they just…vanished. At first, she felt grief-stricken but soon she toughened up and resigned herself to life on the streets. A few hours later she discovered her parents-lifeless, soulless, and being taken away by an unknown group of cats. She fell apart at the sight, and traumatized, she desperately begged them to not take what was left of her parents away, but they ignored her cries. So she spent the rest of her kithood wandering the streets, living in deep fear, surviving one agony (bullies, fights, near starvation, cold weather) after another, and it was during this stage of her life that she attained her wry cunningness and bitter edge.
    Then she met Pyr. The orange tom seemed like a light in Sapphira Adi’s darkness, and his cult seemed to offer her so much safety, and protection so she stayed. Sapphira soon realized that if she talked a certain way, or used certain mannerisms cats would actually listen to her, and thus she slowly grew into her charisma skills…and that was when she realized that Pyr was a tyrant at heart, and confronted him. He banished her to the the lands outside the district saying that if she survived a full season of Polia he’d welcome her back. Sapphira survived a full season of Polia, but some inner-part of her self died, and she returned to Bapxer bitter, and full of hatred for Pyr and his cult. Pyr almost seemed impressed that she’d survived and asked if she’d return to his cult. But Sapphira Adi coldly declined, telling him what she thought of his leadership, how he’d ruined her, that from now on, her life would be her own, and not his, and that she had no time for pathetic leaders. Then she marched away, completely ignoring the threats Pyr called after her. The she-cat returned to living a solo life on the streets and, after endearing Polia, it suited her just fine. Being one of the few cats to challenge Pyr, and survive, she’d gained some popularity, and she quickly took advantage of that and started a cult of her own. Sapphira Adi turned out to be a natural leader, and a very powerful cat-some say she was an even better leader (and a more powerful cat) then Pyr. Which sparked the embers of her rivalry with the tom into a flame.
    Sapphira Adi didn’t join the tests to spite Pyr or prove herself stronger then him-she joined the tests to become a stronger leader, a more insightful cat…and something else.

  • I had a brainstorm at 2 in the morning so i made a few more characters.

    Name: Ivory
    Age:4 1/2
    Gender and pronouns: Male (he/him)
    Description: Ginger tabby tom with amber eyes.
    Personality: Bitter, secretive, sly, distant, generous, introvert, skilled, unpredictable.
    Place of origin: Baxper
    Backstory: Ivory’s family didn’t really care much about him, and his father verbally abused him a lot. When Ivory was older, and after he was venting out his anger from his father’s latest rebuke after he got his prey stolen by an alley cat, he met a tom named Silver, who gave him some fighting tricks for the next time it happened. The two became friends, but Ivory kept his meetings a secret. After his father found out, he started yelling at him, and Ivory snapped. He killed his father in a bout of rage, and after he realized what he did, he fled to Silver, who suggested that he should join Silver’s gang, which Ivory accepted. After he joined, he realized that Silver just wanted him to join his gang, and after Ivory accepted, Silver became cold and distant. There was no way out of the gang, though. Once you joined, you couldn’t get ou without ending up in trouble. Later on, Ivory killed other cats for the gang’s sake, and when Pilate asked him to join the Tests, he accepted it in order to escape from his miserable life.

She helped other cats, and later on, defended a cat who was made fun of which was named Mars. They became friends, and still are to this day.
