Comparing Avatar the Last Airbender Characters to Warrior Cats by Briarpaw

Briarpaw compares characters from Warriors to those from the popular fantasy cartoon, Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Something in my head told me to write about Avatar the Last Airbender and the characters comparing to warrior cats so here we go

oh wait and this is gonna include spoilers for ATLA so don’t read if you’re still watching don’t read. And some spoilers for Warriors as well. Not major major ones mostly buuut if you wanna keep the warrior names of the main protagonists of The Broken Code, don’t read this

Aang- Firestar

I think we all saw that one coming. Both Aang and Firestar were destined to be great leaders and save the world/clans. They were both pretty young when they started and had to train in time to defeat the Fire Lord/Tigerstar. Although, Firestar when starting out is a bit more mature than Aang. There’s not much else to say, frankly, because Firestar is kind of boring and as much as I love Aang and ATLA his personality isn’t too unique.

Katara- Hollyleaf

Both of them have strong moral codes and they both went through something similar. I do think Katara would’ve acted like Hollyleaf had she been in her paws after hearing the truth about her mother. Also, they went through the same thing with Ashfur. Katara went off to kill the man who killed her mother but ended up forgiving him in the end. Hollyleaf went to hurt Ashfur for, well, what he did but forgave him in the end as well. In fact, Sokka was originally supposed to be pretty serious so I’m thinking… Katara, Sokka, and Aang might have been a lot like Lionblaze, Jayfeather, and Hollyleaf.

Sokka- Graystripe

They are both goofy and loveable. I don’t really have much else to say here but Graystripe was the closest match to Sokka I could think of.

Toph- Jayfeather.

These two are literally the same character in different bodies. Jaybae is blind, sassy, grumpy, introverted, hides feelings, other characters find him annoying… all of which Toph is too. This is what originally sparked the idea to write this article, because they are so similar. You can’t really argue with me on this one.

Zuko- Breezepelt

You’d think it’d be Bramblestar, but Zuko was a villian at the start when Bramblestar was not. I think he’s a lot like Breezepelt. Daddy issues, his dad and mom split up, he was mean and then he wasn’t. I really don’t know too much about Breezepelt but he was the closest I could find to Zuko.
