  • QUESTIONS FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO’VE READ KEEPER OF THE LOST CITIES:

    Spoiler alert! Do not read or reply if you have not read this series!

    1. Who’s your favorite character?
    2. Favorite villain?
    3. Favorite ship?
    4. Who do you think Sophie will choose out of Dex, Keefe, and Fitz?
    5. Favorite book?
    6. Opinion on the series overall?

    My answers:

    1. Keefe! <3 He's funny, protective, insecure, and can be really kind. He controls himself and doesn't do anything to hurt others unless he's completely sure of it. I love his relationship with Sophie! Team Foster-Keefe forever! (Oralie is also pretty great though)
    2. Lady Gisela. For one, she's a female villain, and secondly, she is ruthless. Even when she was pregnant with a son she was thinking about her own schemes, and she totally manipulated her husband. She survived an ogre prison and is super smart and cunning!
    3. Foster-Keefe! They are amazing and have such a great pairing and Keefe was always nicer to Sophie than Fitz was to her. They have multiple things in common and still are different in many ways, and they’re always there for each other. Read Legacy!
    4. Keefe! Sophie and Fitz already broke up and Shannon must’ve made them closer ages for a reason. I have a feeling that Sophie will go after him by herself alone in Unlocked, they’ll meet again, Keefe will cry and confess, Sophie will realize that she always felt that way too… and yeah.
    5. Legacy! It seemed more action-packed, all the adorable Team Foster-Keefe moments (and the cookie fight), and the end was so heartbreaking and exciting! Plus Sophie finding her biological mom. I also like Neverseen and Nightfall, too.
    6. It’s a good series! There are complex characters and relationships. The only thing I’d change would be the action – just more of it, please! And of course more Foster-Keefe moments. I can’t wait for Unlocked to come out!

      1. Sophie. She’s so self-sacrificing and kind, and she cares deeply about her friends! I also relate to her clumsiness a lot. 😛
      2. Hmm, I like Lady Gisela as well, but Vespera is cool!
      3. Sophitz. *braces for torrent of rotten tomatoes* Don’t get me wrong, I love Keefe, but I’ve just loved Sophie and Fitz’s dynamic throughout the series. They obviously care about each other an incredible amount, and Fitz’s gifts to her are the cutest. Thing. Ever. I like a guy who can bake! I hate how Shannon portrayed Fitz’s character in Legacy. That just wasn’t him. But I love how Fitz apologized to Sophie at the end of Legacy, and said that he was fine with just being friends if that was what makes her happy. 🥰 💖
      4. FITZ!!!! Why would Shannon write all the build up to Sophitz, with Sophie and Fitz being Cognates, and him being the first elf she ever met, to make Sophie chose someone else. I get that Keefe cares for Sophie, but it is clear in the books that Sophie doesn’t like Keefe in that way. She just sees him as a friend.

      6. I think it was because of his personality, and how pessimistic he was since it was funny how he interacted with other cats.

    Turtle Tail (Warriors)
    My opinion when I first read about her: I loved her instantly! She’s so sweet and kind, how could I not love her within seconds of her introduction? <3
    My opinion now: She’s my favorite Warriors character ever, as well as my favorite fictional character overall! 💖

    Gray Wing (Warriors)
    My opinion when I first read about him: Like Turtle Tail, I pretty much loved him instantly! He’s awesome. <3

    Burr (Hamilton)
    My opinion when I first watched Hamilton: I don’t really remember, since the first time my family tried to watch Hamilton, I hated it and left the room to read. Later on when my siblings became Hamilton obsessed, I learned more about Burr’s character, and decided he was the only decent one. But only because he killed Hamilton. Around October-November of 2020, I learned that Burr had other qualities I liked. Basically, Burr became one of my ultimate favorite characters… before I even liked the musical he was in! 😛 (However, it’s officially been one year since I started liking Hamilton! Yay!)
    My opinion now: I really like him! I especially love it when he wants to be a good parent in Dear Theodosia. 💙

    My opinion when I first watched Hamilton: Again, don’t really remember. But when giving Hamilton another chance last year, she was the first one besides Burr I started liking.
    My opinion now: She’s tied with Burr as my favorite character- she’s awesome! 💜

    Kwazii (Octonauts)
    My opinion when I first watched Octonauts: I don’t remember. I was like, three.
    My opinion now: He’s definitely my favorite Octonauts character! 🧡 I love how adventurous he is, and his kind heart!

    Paani (Octonauts: Above And Beyond)
    My opinion when I first watched Octonauts: Above And Beyond: I thought he was okay, but he wasn’t my third favorite Octonauts character yet. But as the episodes went on, I found myself liking him more and more. Eventually, I realized Paani was a character who belonged in my top three favorite Octonauts characters, so he joined as number three. 💛
    My opinion now: I think he’s really awesome! He’s one of the best Octonauts characters ever! 💚

    Piragua Guy (In The Heights)
    My opinion when I first watched In The Heights: I really liked him, especially during his song, Piragua. He became my favorite during the post credits scene. After listening to the soundtrack a few times, though, I realized that he wasn’t only my favorite In The Heights character: He was one of my ultimate favorite characters ever. I love him so much. 🧡
    My opinion now: He’s amazing! I love how determined he is, and his song is AMAZING. I’m listening to the original Broadway soundtrack- I’ve been listening to a couple songs every day till I’m done- and I adore him even more!💙
