Really looking forward to read what happened to Pebbleshine after she was taken away by the truck on Skyclan’s journey and how the kits ended up to be abandoned.
Also very curious to learn more about Tree’s kithood with the sisters and how he developed into this odd character.
Mothwing’s secret… not sure. We kind of already had a novella about her in Mistystar’s book… not sure why we are going back there, unless it is relevant for what is happening in TBC.
I have also wondered about Pebbleshine! I think all the novella will be really good 😀
YES! It HAS to be about how she came to terms with the fact that StarClan exists!!!
Let’s share my theories !
Pebbleshine : to be honest, no idea
Tree : we will discover that his father is also Sol’s father… And that will prepare Sol’s return.
Mothwing : “her ultimate destiny” → she will be a very important character in TBC ! Her lack of belief can be very useful in the case of the possessor…
My thoughts:
Mothwing’s pov would be interesting
Pebbleshine’s novella will be really interesting
Tree’s novella would be more interesting if the Sisters weren’t introduced, actually
So we already have brief descriptions for each of these but I’m still gonna share what I think might happen
Pebbleshine’s Kit’s: This will most likely show what happened to Pebbleshine after she got lost. I think we’ll see her meet Tree in this book, as was mentioned in The Raging Storm I think. We might see what happens to her and see why she decided to cross the Thunderpath. The book will most likely end when she dies. Out of all of them I’d say I’m most excited to read this one.
Tree’s Root’s: Best title. Obviously we’ll be seeing the first part of Tree’s life, perhaps why his mother abandoned him at such a young age. I don’t really know what to expect from here, perhaps more about The Sister’s, when he discovered his ability. Or maybe we’ll see him meet Pebbleshine, which would be pretty cool. Imagine if the two novella’s actually overlapped in that aspect, that hasn’t really been done before and would be cool to see. So I do want to read this one.
Mothwing’s Secret: This one I’m a little confused on. The description is pretty vague so there are quite a few possibilities. We can assume that Mothwing’s secret is her not believing in StarClan. I feel like this book might go back in time a bit to before Mothwing was a medicine cat. We might see Hawkfrost create the fake omen, it might give us more insight into why Mothwing didn’t believe in StarClan. Or I might be completely wrong, and this novella has nothing to do with Mothwing’s disbelief. Who knows… interested in this one.
Tree’s mother abandoned him because their tradition was to abandon any toms in the sisters when the stars faced the sun I think
True, but I’m pretty sure Tree was abandoned early, and didn’t have the whole going away ceremony (I don’t actually know I haven’t read Squirrelflight’s Hope 🙁 )
I’m only meh on pebbleshines kits. I am dying of anticipation to see more of the sisters so super hyped for tree’s roots. For MothWing’s secret.. GAAAH MY BABY GIRL SCREEEEECH!!!!
i don’t really like the names of these upcoming novellas but these are giving me a lot of hype!! (and AAA PEBBLESHINE LOOKS AMAZING ON THE COVER)
